The Leaf
An experience with the voice of the Earth and the life upon her.
The Way brought me to a familiar grove of trees. I went and began a meditation. In the course of which I felt my four friends, trees that boarder the grove, and others spoke to me within my mind. At a pivotal point of understanding I felt a presence pop into being behind me. I heard a snap of a twig. I was startled and was now on edge. The presence dropped a dried leaf into my hand frightening me. The message that came with the leaf was clear. “The trees, vegetation, rocks, everything can communicate. DO NOT FORGET this experience. What you experienced was real and as proof to yourself keep this leaf as a token of the covenant you have with the earth. Which covenant is to share what was said by these your friends.” As quickly as the presence came, it popped out of being. Samuel, September 2019
What was said by my friends
“Climate will change to a state generated in part by human hands. We must seek to stabilize it. But change it must. Much as a fallen leaf is change and is a new beginning. The new path of earth is glorious and painful to attain. The earth will shed mans blood as mosquitoes but not all. And for our good. Mother earth knows best. It would not be allowed to happen if it did not have a greater purpose. Even the advent of peace and a paradisaical world of abundance predicated on human higher consciousness”
Now What?
Climate change is on a collision course with humanity. For most of us there is little we can do directly, in proportion to the forces facing the earth. What we can do is change the parameters of what it means to be human. To do the work to raise up humanity to meet the challenges facing the coming generations. This is the work of Zozvrm. The work of updating the story of humankind and our potential to support Global Spiritual Citizens.
